At present, Swee Joo Group’s operations are divided into:

Swee Joo Group owns and operates a fleet of 36 vessels, comprising 10 container vessels, 4 chemical tankers, 8 general cargo vessels, 10 support vessels and 4 dual-purpose vessels. These vessels ply routes in Peninsular Malaysia, East Malaysia and in addition to Thailand, Ho Chi Minh City and China. Swee Joo is also a box operator with regional routes that cover Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Jakarta and Surabaya in Indonesia as well as Singapore.
To cope in the ever competitive shipping industry, Swee Joo has enhanced its operations to include logistics services, allowing the company to quite literally become a one-stop centre for the transportation of goods. These logistics services include transportation, haulage, container repairs and related services which accounts for the remaining 6% of the company’s revenue for the financial year ended 30 September 2007. This approach allows Swee Joo’s customers to benefit from the convenience of engaging one shipping company to provide solutions for their logistical needs.
As a domestic shipping owner and operator, the company has also successfully carved out a niche for itself by providing transshipment services to main line operators calling at Port Klang. Swee Joo is one of the largest shipping companies plying the routes from Port Klang and Johor Port in Peninsular Malaysia to Sabah, Sarawak in East Malaysia and Brunei.
As a coastal shipping operator, Swee Joo’s coastal shallow draft vessels provide efficient inter-port consolidated services between Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Limbang in Sarawak. Via its strategic partnerships, Swee Joo provides fast international connections via Bintulu Port on a weekly basis.
Besides the various shore terminals and container depots that have been established via its subsidiaries, Swee Joo also maintains a network of branch offices and associate companies around Malaysia to provide efficient, rapid support for its clients’ logistical needs.
