All KLCI futures contracts ended lower, still at discounts Thursday
All the KLCI Futures contracts ended lower Thursday and closed at discounts ranging from 6.97 to 11.97 points to the underlying.
The December contract closed 7.0 points lower at 1,260.0 points, enlarging its discount to the underlying to 6.97 points from 2.03 points Wednesday. The contract however opened 3.0 points firmer at 1,263.0 points and traded between 1,256.0 and 1,269.5 points during the day.
The January 2010 contract lost 7.0 points to 1,260.0 points, which is a discount of 6.97 points to the cash market against a discount of 2.03 points a day earlier. It traded between 1,257.0 and 1,269.0 points during the day.
The March 2010 contract tumbled 10.00 points to 1,255.0 points, which is a discount of 11.97 points, while the June 2010 contract closed 5.5 points lower at 1,260.0 points, representing a discount of 6.97 points to the underlying.
