KLCI Futures contracts ended higher but at lower premiums
All the KLCI Futures contracts ended higher Tuesday but closed at lower premiums ranging from 0.8 to 1.8 points to the underlying.
The January 2010 contract closed 8 points higher at 1,290.0 points, trimming its premium to 1.26 points to the underlying from 6.25 points Monday. The contract opened flat at 1,282.0 points and traded between 1,281.5 and 1,292.0 points during the day.
The February 2010 contract gained 6.5 points to 1,289.0 points, representing a premium of 0.76 of a point. It opened at 1,283.0 points and traded between 1,282.0 and 1,293.5 points during the day.
The March 2010 contract closed 8.5 points higher at 1,289.0 points, which is a premium of 0.76 of a point to the underlying, while the June 2010 contract rose 10.0 points to 1,290.0 points, representing a premium of 1.76 points to the underlying.
