FKLI close firmer inline with cash market
THE FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly higher yesterday in line with the cash market, dealers said.
September 2010 rose 1.5 points to close at 1,437.0, October 2010 fell 1.5 points to 1,437.0, December 2010 climbed 3.5 points to 1,439 and March 2011 went up 5.5 points to 1,435.5. Turnover increased to 8,602 lots from Wednesday’s 7,208 lots while open interests climbed to 17,915 contracts from 17,768 previously. The underlying FBM KLCI surged 9.11 points to 1,441.07.
