FKLI Slump On Increased Profit Takings
THE FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed easier yesterday as traders cash in their LONGs
The April 2011 contract decreased 15.5 points to 1,520.5, May 2011 lost 14.5 points to 1,521.0, June 2011 dropped 13.0 points to 1,521.5 and September 2011 fell 11.0 points to 1,517.0.
Volume was higher at 8,678 lots compared with 6,193 lots on Monday while open interest increased to 22,892 contracts from 22,653 contracts previously.
On the cash market, the underlying index fell 18.08 points to 1,525.92, after opening 4.54 points lower at 1,539.46.
