FKLI loses premium as cash market fluctuates The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower yesterday despite the higher cash market, dealers said October 2010 and March 2011 fell 2.5 points each to 1,481.5 and 1,481 respectively, while November 2011 and December 2011 eased two points each, with both closing at 1,482.
Volume fell to 4,415 lots fromWednesday’s 5,061 lots, while open interests rose to 22,325 contracts from 22,004 previously.
On the cash market, the FBM KLCI gained 1.84 points to close at 1,481.45.
