The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower in line with the cash market's performance, dealers said.

Volume, however, rose to 7,390 lots compared with last Friday's 5,750 lots while open interest amounted to 16,969 contracts from 16,368 contracts previously.
On the cash market, the key FBM KLCI declined 7.94 points to 1,299.50.
